Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Rock Steady Crew, LLC wants everyone to be able to read this story. We aim for rocksteadycrew.life to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, and we treat accessibility as part of the design, not an add-on.

What we have done

• Semantic headings, landmarks, and labelled forms so screen readers can navigate the page.
• Descriptive alternative text on every photograph, and visible captions and credits that are never hidden behind hover.
• Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 (3:1 for large headings) in both light and dark modes.
• Full keyboard operation with visible focus indicators; the share sheet closes with Escape and does not trap focus.
• Touch targets of at least 44 × 44 pixels for buttons and links used on mobile.
• Reduced-motion support: when your device asks for less motion, transitions become simple fades and nothing rotates or parallaxes.
• No autoplaying sound or video.
• Layouts that reflow down to 320 pixels wide and support browser zoom up to 400%.
• Status messages (for example “Link copied”) are announced to assistive technology.

Known limitations

• Some archival photographs contain text (signs, t-shirts, graffiti) that is described in alt text only where it is meaningful to the story.
• Third-party retailer, ticketing, and social-media sites linked from this site are outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
• The printed PDF version of the site is a static document and does not include the interactive share and RSVP features.

How we test

We check the site with automated tools (axe, Lighthouse) and by hand with keyboard-only navigation, VoiceOver on iOS and macOS, NVDA on Windows, and at 200% and 400% zoom. We review accessibility whenever content or features change.

Events

Each tour listing shows venue accessibility information (step-free access, seating, ASL or captioning where offered). If you need an accommodation for an event, contact us before the date and we will work with the venue.
