1Agreement

These terms govern your use of rocksteadycrew.life (the “Site”), operated by Rock Steady Crew, LLC (“we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

2What the Site is

The Site presents information about the book Rock Steady for Life: Bringing Breakdancing to the World, related events, and links to retailers. We do not sell the book directly through the Site. Purchases are made with third-party retailers under their own terms.

3Intellectual property

All photographs, text, design, the Rock Steady Crew name and marks, and other content on the Site are owned by or licensed to Rock Steady Crew, LLC, Richard “Crazy Legs” Colón, Rizzoli New York, or the credited photographers, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may view the Site and share links to it. You may not copy, download, reproduce, republish, or use any photograph or other content for commercial purposes, or remove any credit or notice, without written permission. Press assets are provided on the Press page under the terms stated there.

4Acceptable use

Do not use the Site to break any law, interfere with its operation, scrape or bulk-download content, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or submit false RSVP or contact information.

5Retailer and affiliate links

The Site links to independent retailers. Some links are affiliate links and may earn us a commission. We do not control retailer sites and are not responsible for their availability, pricing, stock, fulfilment, or policies. Any purchase is a contract between you and the retailer.

6Events

Event details are published in good faith and may change. Dates, venues, times, and availability are subject to confirmation; check the event listing before travelling. RSVPs and tickets are subject to the host venue’s terms.

7Email updates

Signing up means you agree to receive emails from us as described in our Privacy Notice. You can unsubscribe at any time.

8SMS terms

Program. Rock Steady For Life text updates, sent by Rock Steady Crew, LLC: promotional and marketing messages about book news, tour dates, event reminders, and merchandise drops, plus notifications and customer service messages about your subscription.

Opting in. You join by entering your mobile number and checking the SMS consent box on our signup form. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Frequency and costs. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Opting out and help. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help, or email info@rocksteadycrew.life.

Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy. See our Privacy Notice, Section 17.

9Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is”. We work to keep information accurate and the Site available, but do not guarantee either. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under applicable law.

10Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rock Steady Crew, LLC and its members, officers, and contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or of any third-party site linked from it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to US $100.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York, except where consumer-protection law in your home country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

12Changes and contact

We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the current version; continued use after a change means you accept it.
