The Rock Steady Crew is more than just a dance group. They are a pillar of Hip-Hop Culture.
They helped keep the breakdance element of the culture alive as hip-hop became mainstream and entered nightclubs. Rock Steady stayed true to the essence of their style of dancing and helped take it from park jams to movie screens. Even the Olympics tried to incorporate breaking, and why not?
Since Crazy Legs and the crew have created so many acrobatic power moves that one can say resemble gymnastics, they would be our Nikolai Andrianov and Simone Biles.
