Richard “Crazy Legs” Colón speaks about fifty years of breaking, the Rock Steady Crew, and the making of Rock Steady for Life. Bookstores, libraries, schools, universities, festivals, and community organizations can request a visit or pitch their venue as a stop on the tour route.
Requests are reviewed by the tour team. You will hear back within 10 business days.
Appearance formats
Book talk and signing
45–60 minutes in conversation or solo, followed by a signing. Suited to bookstores, libraries, and museums.
Keynote or panel
Hip-hop history, cultural ownership, and the Bronx origin story for conferences, universities, and festivals.
School and library visit
Age-appropriate talk with Q&A for middle school through college. Bulk order support available for classroom sets.
Workshop or masterclass
Movement-based session on foundation and history, for dance programs and community centers. Requires a suitable floor.
